Exam Invigilators Required

Severn Vale School is an Academy which provides an inclusive secondary education for students.  The school is proud of its inclusive credentials and, in an area that has retained selection, subscribe instinctively to the comprehensive ideal. We are a popular and over-subscribed 11-16 academy.

We currently require examination invigilators.

The invigilator position is not a full-time position, but is dependent on when examinations have been scheduled. It is essential that you are available for mornings and/or afternoons on selected days between 10 March until 11 July.  You will need to arrive by 8.00am for morning exams and 12.00noon for afternoon exams. Some afternoon exams may finish after the school day.

Experience is not required as training will be provided.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Good time management skills: reliable and punctual
  • Ability to communicate with students and members of staff clearly, calmly and accurately
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to work with others as part of a team

Rate of pay (effective from 1 April 2024): £12.86 (which includes holiday pay)

Interviews will be held week commencing: 13 January 2025

Training will be held on 22 January 2025 (successful applicants must be available on this date)

Start date: 10 March 2025
