Salary: Grade F, Point 6 – 12 (£25183 - £27711 / £20443 - £22495 pro rata)
- 35 hours per week (8:30 – 3:30, Monday – Friday)
- 39 weeks per year: term time + inset
- Permanent contract
We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated, qualified teaching assistant to work as part of the school’s Reading Recovery team, supporting students receiving literacy interventions.
The position will involve working with our students who are not yet at age-related expectations in literacy. This is an excellent opportunity for the successful applicant to work within an expanding area of our school. Experience of working in an educational setting, either in a primary or secondary school, is essential.
You will:
- Have a good knowledge of literacy
- Have good interpersonal skills and be a strong communicator
- Have a positive approach to working with students to support them in achieving success
- Be able to prioritise and manage tasks independently and within a team environment.
