Careers in Social Work
On Wednesday, some of our Year 10 and 11 Health and Social Care students were lucky enough to have a visit from Lynsey Innes from Gloucestershire social services.
She gave the students an insight into the various roles and areas within social work, what social workers do to help people, and routes into the profession.
It was useful for the students to use the knowledge they have learnt in lessons and apply it into real life scenarios. In short, it was a fantastic experience. Many thanks to Lynsey for giving her time so generously.
