An early goal bolstered the girls’ confidence, but in the dying minutes of the game Denmark Road scored an equaliser. Another penalty shoot-out to determine the district champions. Yet again Laila was class in goal and the players who stepped up to take penalties showed some real grit and determination. With scores even after 6 penalties, Laila pulled out another stop and Ava scored the final penalty to crown the team DISTRICT CHAMPIONS.

Well done to Liv K who was awarded player of the tournament. They will go on to the county finals at Cirencester in February.
