On Monday 13th March an OddBalls ambassador from Hartpury University came into Severn Vale School to talk to Y10 and Y11 boys about testicular cancer. Two really important messages came out of the talk, firstly the need for boys to do regular self-checkups and secondly to talk to somebody if they find anything of concern. Issues like testicular cancer get covered at SVS as part of our Futures Programme, however it is always good to get the messages reinforced through these sorts of assemblies.
