Molly May's DofE volunteering success
Year 10 student Molly-May Newman decided to bring some Christmas cheer as part of her DofE volunteering
Year 10 student Molly-May Newman has been working on a project to support Gloucester Foodbank as part of her DofE volunteering work. She has been collecting selection boxes to pass on to the foodbank so these can be distributed to families in the run up to Christmas. With the support of friends and family and the Severn Vale community she was able to collect over 70kg of selection boxes which the Gloucester foodbank will be able to distribute to families in need.
As well as this project, Molly-May will also be supporting Mr Hockaday after Christmas when the school organises its annual Foodbank collection.
We are very proud of Molly-May's commitment and compassion.
