Art Students Trip to Oxford

Our year 10 Fine Art students had the opportunity to visit the Oxford University Natural History & Ashmolean Museum’s as part of their Decay & Preservation Coursework project.

As part of the visit to the Natural History Museum, students enjoyed being able to get up close to some of the artefacts, followed by a range of observational drawing and photographic activities around the museum. In the Ashmolean students had the opportunity to engage with a range of artworks and sculpture from different periods including drawing in the Impressionist gallery.

Our Fine Artist were thoroughly engaged and enthused by the collections, and it will be great to see how their personal work has been inspired by the day.
